Trauma Therapy

Breakthrough in therapy and coaching

EMDR – Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is a complex psychotherapeutic approach that has been proven very effective for the treatment of trauma. It works through bilateral stimulation, a technique that stimulates both brain hemispheres and incites the neural networks in which the traumatic experiences are stored to process these events. Through mindfulness, simultaneously directing our attention on the bilateral stimulation and on the emotional distress, the neuronal networks are rewired and the traumatic events are processed.

EMDR can be combined with any other therapeutic approaches. In my Practice for Alternative Psychotherapy and Coaching, I am combining EMDR with inner child work, awareness/consciousness work, constellations, development methods etc.

EMDR is not only efficient for the treatment of trauma. It has also shown impressive results in the treatment of anxiety, compulsion and chronic pain disorders, as well as grief and tinnitus.  But the fastest and most impressive results have been achieved in the treatment of PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder).

Through counseling sessions based on a specially designed coaching-concept that includes EMDR, positive results in the areas of behavioral changes, blockage dissolution, processing of conflictual situations and resource development, can be rapidly achieved.
